The knowledge is used further in interesting and meaningful activities that lend our self to the skills that develop such as letter writing, giving directions, etc. And also the book emphasizes free expressions as the end product of language teaching thus a new lesson followed by a series of drills always leads up to expression both oral and written.

A complex process, reading demands that the learner not on get meaning from the printed page but also use it for developing oral and written communication and critical thinking that enables him/her to learn more.
